Rosie
A donation was made in memory of Rosie by Haeli Landry-Evans on Oct 15, 2013.
Rosie lived a long life (19 years) and he went to Cat Heaven on Oct. 10th, 2013.
An extraordinary cat and friend who became deaf and lived with arthritis in his back for a number of years.
He had a sixth sense that was amazing, being able to locate me anywhere in the house at any time and when he wanted to eat, he told you so with a loud MEOW!
And when he couldn't find me the MEOW became a very loud screech until I located him and reassured him I was there.
He was part of a litter of four cats; one died at birth, his brother cat Smokey died while we were in Chelan the summer of 2012, his mother died in my arms in 2010 and his brother, Thor, is still living with my son Greg and Daughter-in-law, Lynn.
I have had cats all my life, but Rosie was a very special friend who was only happy when he sat by me on the couch or sleeping on the bed and insisting I give him a good rub in the wee hours of the morning. If I didn't, he would let me know.
