You know when you are flooded with condolences that everyone who met Princess got a little piece of her. She was everybody's dog. Even when I picked up a hitchhiker, she was in their lap. Hard to get used to such a quiet house. You certainly learn how much pets mean to people. We would always come to check on each other and just hang out. Took her everywhere I could. Got each other when she was five and almost 19 at her death. Be good to your dog. Can be harder to lose than a human. I sometimes called her the "Pom with a thousand snores".
