Luke was my beloved companion and watched over me for many years. He was a border-collie/husky mix but my mom thinks that he had some malamute in him as well. When my family and I took extended trips on vacation, Luke would be barking the minute when we drove back up from our trip realizing we were home. When I took quick trips out of the house, he would put his nose to the window as I drove away. Luke always knew when I was home. Luke was put down on Tuesday November 8th, 2011. He will never be forgotten. He was a true companion and friend. Son
Luke loved us very much. He watched over us with all his heart. If one of us was sick he would be our bedside companion until we recovered. We were his sheep and when we were at home he would position himself to have full view of his three sheep. Mom
Luke was such a great dog in many ways and a true blessing to our family. I was always amazed at his intelligence and in awe of how God created a creature that could be such a companion to us. Dad
