We got Cleo as a kitten and she also had an adopted sister cat and brother cat and a year later an adopted puppy sister. As the years went by all of her siblings went to heaven and she was the only one left for 5 years so she attached herself to us! Every day she would politely wait for us to sit down so she could come sit on our laps. She went on her first ever trip with us to California at the age of 17 and a half. Cleo was a trooper and behaved herself perfectly. 4 months later, she passed away. We miss her so much.
