What a brave little puppy you have been dear Truffles. Your cancer was suppose to take you by last Christmas, but you fought on. You weren't ready to leave and we weren't ready to release you. Today we set you free from your pain sweetie. Our hearts are breaking and we feel so much pain. They say the more deeply you love, the more deeply you feel pain. We love you a lot! We want to play with you and snuggle you once again. From the moment dad (Jack Poling and Raushel Marie Shepherd brought you home, you were my little girl. We will try and be strong though and remember the silly times with you. The time you went to chase a fawn around the house and all of the sudden I saw you running back the other way with the mommy doe deer chasing you! The times you've barked at the tennis players while on our walks at the college and one time you got free and ran onto the courts and were chasing the balls. Barking at clocks, spiders and spots on the wall. Your 12th birthday would have been this October 8th. Your best friend misses you too. We will all take care of her and the grandkids for you, your little lambs. You brought so much love into our lives. Thank you for the joy you added to our journey.
