Jax came into our lives at 9 mo. of age as an awkward teenager of a pup-complete with crooked teeth and storm anxiety. He worked his way immediately into our hearts-being especially bonded to our then teenage children. He attended innumerable soccer games and had miles and miles of beach walks with us. We will always remember his attitude of “It’s great to be alive!” whenever we came home. He showed us true devotion, unconditional love, patience and grace. As well as being our constant companion, he taught hundreds of veterinary students and was a minion for several cats. We miss him and cherish nearly 16 years together. We are better for having known him.
