Cody was our 6 and half year old boxer. He came into our lives from the Frisco, CO animal shelter in March of 2004; our home was never the same. He added so much to our lives. He was a true companion. He was a happy, silly, crazy runner, boxer S turner, and my best friend. We lost Cody this winter to lymphoma. He was brave and strong and fought the battle for six months. We miss him more than words can say. We feel very blessed to have had the additional 6 months. Cody was inspirational and graceful in his fight for life. He has reminded me to live every moment to the fullest and to live in the present. Cody didn't know he was dying of cancer. He just knew he didn't feel as good as normal on somedays with the chemo. My heart aches without him, yet I know it was his time. We shared so many of lifes challenges, triumphs, and markers with Cody. He will always be a part of those memories.
