BORN: JANUARY 10, 2000
PASSED AWAY: DECEMBER 20, 2011

Zoe is survived by her Mom & Dad, Jim & Pat and her sister Abby (a goldendoodle) 1 ½ years old.

Zoe came to live with us when she was 8 weeks old. I saw her at Rocco’s Pet Store in Fashion
Island and fell in love because she looked like our previous dog Ziggy. I told my husband about her so
he went to get her and surprised me by putting her in a bag and gave it to me. When I saw that
little face peeping out of that bag I just started crying. From the very beginning Zoe was the best
girl because she followed in her sister Harlee’s footsteps (golden retriever) and Harlee taught her all she knew.

When Harlee passed away, Zoe was so sad and didn’t eat for days and cried all the time. We knew
we had to get Zoe a sister so Abby came to live with us and this time it was Zoe who taught Abby
how to be a good girl (it just took Abby a little longer) and they became great friends even though
Abby made her life miserable through the puppy stage.

Zoe had been throwing up for the past 6 weeks so we went to see Dr. Riggs. He took
x-rays and found a large tumor in her belly and her liver & spleen were enlarged. Our worst
fear came true and we were going to loose another beloved member of our family to cancer. Zoe put
up a very brave fight and finally she became so weak her back legs weren’t holding her up and she
cried and barked all the time…we knew she was telling us that she was done and ready to go see her
sister Harlee.

We love & miss you Zoe dog and we’ll never forget you! Jim & Pat
