Sugars Macho EFX “Joe” was my heart horse, my soulmate in equine form, the reason I fell in love with horses and riding again. On April 24th 2023, I was hauling water to my horses and when I arrived I found Joe stuck in the fence, after getting him out of the panels, I came to the horrific knowledge he had broken his leg, in multiple places. After calling 4 different equine vet and after they reassured me there was nothing to be done, I laid my beautiful boy to rest. Even now, months later it doesn’t feel real and the pain is still there. I carry him in my heart and in every horsey thing I do going forward. He is my inspiration to keep going- Joe, I miss you so much.
