Ellie was an absolute love and we were devastated to lose her all too suddenly. Our family got lucky enough to adopt Ellie when she was a mature, trained 7 year old yellow lab. It took time for her to attach herself to us but once she did, she would not leave our sides for 5 whole years. We miss her early rising in the mornings and demanding love fests while trying to get ready for the day, her eagerness to go on walks and natural athleticism, trying to get our attention by sneaking a shoe and playing keep away and stealing our daughter's teddybear, joining me at work and gently greeting my clients and then dancing with me at the end of the work day, her soft ears, her big brown eyes and her love of going with us on adventures. We miss her terribly.
