Lacey (and her brother Bear), are the first dogs we've had on our own. We adopted them when Lacey was 5 (and Bear 3). She was a tough, stubborn but also a very sweet dog. It was a constant struggle with her over who got the pillows in bed at night. It was not uncommon to wake and realize you were sharing your pillow with her. I've never seen a dog love and use pillows for comfort the way she did. Later in life she demanded sauces on her food because plain old dog food just wasn't good enough. We were lucky to have her bless our lives for the past 7 years. Thanks for the smiles, barks and your stubborn yet somehow still the sweetest dog ever personality.... you will be forever missed...
