Patch came into my life on 5/8/08 as I sat beside her mom Cali while she started giving birth to her first litter of pups. Her mom was nervous so I was there to help clean the pups and make sure everything went ok since I had her mom from an 8 week old pup and cared deeply for her. Patch was the first one born and the biggest of two other sisters and one brother. I cleaned her off and let mom take over. She was always a loyal, devoted friend and companion. I never had to worry about her or her mother leaving my side or letting anyone near me that would do me any harm. The two of them were inseparable running the banks of the canal, chasing the cows away from the fenced yard, swimming in the lake, anywhere I was they went. After her mom passed away our bond grew deeper where we relied on each other more than ever. She was always with me and it felt great having such a close bond to her. She would do anything for me and I would have for her. Living on my own for so long she became my best friend and it killed me when I had to lay her beside her mom along the river bank they used to run together at my parents property. She will always be in my heart. Love you Patch ❤
