We miss our sweet Clark every single day and he was such a special friend that I know we will miss him forever. We were very lucky to be his family, he showed us what true love is. He was my best friend...he would come running to me when I would start dancing and jump up and dance with me. When I would leave the house he would wait by the door and would have one of my shoes next to him. My husband said he had never seen a dog love someone as much as Clark loved me. When he would hear my daughter crying he would run to her and make her laugh by licking her in the face. We have so many stories we could tell about Clark and what he gave to our family. He fought bone cancer for 19 months and we sure gave it our best effort. Clark died October 12th 2011, he would have turned 5 years old January 24th 2012.We will be forever thankful to everyone at WSU for all of their help especially Dr. Christie Anderson who was such a good friend to me when my heart was breaking. I believe Clark is still watching over us and we hope to see our friend again someday and hug him. We love you Clark and we always will!

Comments: Clark was the cutest little blonde boy ever to wag a tail! I remember the first time I saw him and heard his name (his big brother is Lewis) and I laughed out loud. He heard me and came running up to me with his little butt all a-wiggle. Clark had the sweetest little upturned nose that always made me see him as smiling. And his personality matched his looks. He never had a bad day -- at least he wouldn't let on. I know he went through a lot of pain as did his owners and family but he was a rock in their lives and I will always love him for the sunshine he brought into their lives and mine. We'll see you soon, Clarky! I'll bring the tennis ball!
