Bailey Jo was not adopted, she adopted me. The day I went to pick out my baby, I had fallen for a chubby faced boy puppy. It was right when I was about to go ahead with the adoption, that a much smaller dark chocolate girl showed up and sat right down between my feet. She was soaking wet, as she apparently already had a huge love for swimming at 12wks old that she would go swim in the pond while the other puppies were doing other puppy things. I love water very much as well and it was love at first sight. One of the best decisions of my life. Bailey was the best partner in crime for me. Such a sweet, quirky, happy girl. Both Bailey and myself got sick this year. I did everything I could to just keep her pain free and happy as her cancer was in - operable. I left the house for surgery and she was still doing pretty good. When I was gone, she stopped eating after the second day, and when I got home after day four, she let me know right away she was done fighting. It was such a horrible thing to come home to, but I know in my heart she was waiting to say goodbye to me. Loyal and loving to the end. I miss you so much girl!
