A donation was made in memory of Zephyr by

Zephyr spent the first part of his life harassing chickens on a sheep farm. He came into my life when he was 12 and I was 17. There was never a dull moment in my journey with Zephyr. He had an affinity for acrobatics and liked to live with all four feet off the ground. He was a talented dressage horse and fearless trail companion. He was goofy, brave, playful, and warm. He taught me a lot about partnership, patience, respect, hard work, and trust.
When I got married in 2019 Zephyr was present on the farm where our ceremony took place. He was 26 at the time. While my husband and I took our vows, Zephyr grazed in a field behind us. As I was about to say "I do," Zephyr suddenly lifted his head, turned, and cantered to the fence line. He then let out a perfectly timed whinny that drowned out my "I do." He could always be counted on for a laugh and a smile. He received a lot of love (and treats) from myself, my family, my friends, and many others who crossed his path.
