Chevy the Magnificent (our 7 year old Chocolate Lab) fought a courageous battle with cancer which ended on 07-08-09. As a family we enjoyed 169 amazing days with him after diagnosis. He was treated with radiation by Christie (Resident Vet) at the WSU Hospital which relieved his pain and slowed the growth of the osteosarcoma tumor in his right rear leg. We were so blessed to have the option right here in Washington State! We hope there is a cure for this dreadful disease very soon. Chevy will be greatly missed and never forgotten. We look forward to joining him in heaven one day! :)
