Mandy... Thanks for 14 years of love and protection and loyalty. Mandy was brought home from Safeway by my husband, David, when we were first married and lived in an apartment, with no permission to have a dog:). She was with us through buying our first house, having our son Colin, and then loosing David just a few years later. She always made me feel safe living alone for the first time. She was a challenge (poor listener in her young age) She was wonderful with Colin as a baby..even being part Chow and a bit snippy with strangers. Mandy developed bone cancer last Sept. and the docs told us it would take her quick. We finally put her down in Feb after not being able to control the bleeding from her tumor. As I loved on her her last few hours she licked the tears off my face. I know she was telling me she loved me and thanking me for being her Mama. We will meet again my sweet girl. I know you are playing ball in heaven with your Daddy waiting for us to join you someday.
