A donation was made in memory of Gregory by

Gregory's life started out as a colony dog at WSU Veterinary Teaching Hospital. He was my anesthesia dog my second year of vet school. I was lucky enough to have been able to adopt him. Little did I know what he would bless my life with.
Gregory was a rock in my life. He helped me through the loss of three grandmothers, my brother, and recently my dad. He was the one that was there when I would cry myself to sleep. He was forever the guinea pig through my veterinary career, first in school and then after school.
Following vet school I achieved certifications in animal chiropractic, canine physical rehabilitation, and medical acupuncture. Guess he was my volunteer when it came to learning my new skills.
I wrote a letter to the animal committee there at WSU stating that I wanted to adopt him and make him a part of my family and make him an agility champion. We achieved both goals, in spades.
I miss Gregory so much. My house is so empty without him. I know when I face my next heartache he will not be there to help pick up the pieces and I will miss him so much all over again. We all say that we wish they could live forever, and I have said that in the past, but this one I really mean it. Before, when I have said that, I meant it, but I would have never had Gregory in my life if those wishes would have come true. Gregory was truly my "heart dog" and there will never be another like him.
