Tink the Qat

A donation was made in memory of Tink the Qat by Doctors and Staff of the Animal World Veterinary Clinic on May 15, 2012.

We found “Tink The Qat” at the Moses lake Humane Society Shelter when we first moved here. She was adopted with the primary purpose of mouse control in mind, as we had quite a few around for some reason. Tink pretty much picked us, we didn’t pick her. She reached her paw out of the bottom of the kennel and started tugging on my pant leg. As time went on, Tink became more of a family member than just a “working Qat”. Her antics and frequent terrorizing of our Beagle and Schoodle are the stuff of legends around our house. She defended our house from interloping neighborhood cats for years. She was one tough Qat. As she grew older, Tink found that the best place to be was sitting in my lap, on the arm of my chair, or on the back of my chair. Pretty much anywhere she could be close to me. She would literally wander around following me until I sat down. Then she would lay on the floor next to me. When I was home alone on my days off, Tink and the dogs would spend a lot of time “keeping me company”. She was the best Qat ever. Going to be a little bit sadder around here without you “Miss Qitty”. So sad to see you go.
