Molly

A donation was made in memory of Molly on Sep 11, 2014.

Molly came into our lives in 2004. Molly was a very special dog, we called her our cat-dog/Mexican Mutt. I was visiting Rocky Point Mexico and I came across 3 puppies who's mom had just died. Molly was the baby of the 3, her eyes were still closed when I brought her with us to the US. I took her to the vet cause her belly was growing, he said I had to bottle feed her dog milk for at least 1 month since she could not eat regular food yet, he also had to give me medication because he belly had grown from warms and human milk I was feeding her. Having Molly that young was like having a baby, I would get up in the middle of the night and feed her because she would cry. She grew to be an amazing dog, very protective but at the same time very loving and very smart. She loved our house and yard and she would chase animals every day, one of her favorite things was to cruise our cul-de-sac. She loved going around our neighbors yard smelling stuff for hours but would never go on the street she would stay on the side walk. We miss our Molly she was one special dog. Molly was almost 12 years old when she passed of heart failure. She was diagnosed in 2012; the vet said she could maybe live another 6 months if we gave her all the pills on time. Molly would take a total of 22 pills a day. She was very good at taking the pills. Her vet was impressed how long she lasted, he said that it was because we never missed a pill and she felt all the love we gave her. She fought a good fight, she was the best dog, very smart, gentle and loving. We thank God for giving us almost 12 years with her, she is greatly missed! We know we will see her in heaven again!
