Moz

In November of 2010 we had a very bad cold spell in Tacoma Wa. For about a month there was this little brown cat that was living in an empty fish tank that was on our back porch. Being the cat lovers we are we fed him and gave him water. He was persistent on staying in the empty tank, we put a box with a heated blanket but he refused to sleep in any thing but the fish tank. One weekend it was supposed to get very very cold and we were worried the cat would not make it, so we decided to take him in and find him a new home. We took him in and brought him to a local vet to get him checked out and get his shots. While we were there it was discovered he had FIV and the vet told us we should just put him down. We said no way and took him home. My husband did some research and discovered the condition wasn't bad and he could be with our other cats with no risk of them catching it. He was introduced to our 3 kitties who were not thrilled to have a new housemate but they soon accepted him and he became a member of our family. We named him Moz after a character from a tv show I enjoyed. Moz had a huge personality and was a wonderful cat, he loved to cuddle and get carried around. He was very vocal and had no problem letting us know when he wanted to eat, get a snack or just be paid attention to. We had Moz for 9 years and were crushed when we lost him.
