Jake was my 109 pound basset hound that ran the household and was loved by all that knew him. I brought him home from a farm in Montana as a puppy and he became fast friends with Max and later tolerated Moose's "little man syndrome." He was the protector of our first female puppy basset as she would crawl all over him and was never afraid of him when he acted tough around her.

Everyone one of our friends has a story of their own about him. What I am going to miss the most about Jake is our special relationship, he was always there when I needed protection, love and especially a hug.

Good bye, Jake. I love you. You are missed and will always have a special place in my heart.
