We got Lincoln 5 or 6 years ago from a college friend of mine. It felt like it was a good time to have a pet in the house as my kids weren't babies anymore, and they wanted a pet. A cat seemed the best way to go for us as we live in the city and don't have much by way of a yard. So Lincoln came into our lives and our hearts and we loved him a lot; he even won over my husband. Lincoln was our buddy, and we will always miss him -- he loved food and would always beg for it, and he let us snuggle him and love on him. Our lives were made better because of Lincoln, and we'll miss him a lot.
