In Memory of my Buddy Foster

Even after two months of having to put my best buddy down due to cancer this was very hard to write without a tear or two. Even though your tumor grew fast and bled a lot, you didn't complain. The last few months you could not make it upstairs. Towards the end you did come upstairs to stay with me but you could not make it downstairs to use your box so I moved your box upstairs. I cooked chicken for you and fed you. Every day I told you I love you and will miss you more then you know. On the Friday I made the decision it was time, you were so weak. I made the appointment for Tuesday. That weekend for the first time in six months you came and cuddled with me on the bed like you were at ease and somehow knew I needed you. Tuesday morning you were laying on the bed relaxed, telling me you were ready to go. I pray when Jesus calls me home that he has a spot reserved for you to be by my side again. I remember bringing you home welcoming you to your new home. I remember you always greeting me at the door when I would come home from work. I remember the summer days when you would be waiting for me out by the driveway or in the back of the highlander with the hatch open. I remember you sitting with me outside sitting in the sun or sitting on the deck with me watching the Bruins play. I remember Sunday morning when you would cuddle with me and watch In the Heat of the Night reruns. I remember Saturday or Sunday afternoon when I needed a nap you would cuddle next to me and take a nap. I remember when I was sick and came back from the hospital you did not leave my side.

Foster, it was a honor to have you in my life and I will ALWAYS REMEMBER YOU.

Love Randy
