Jack

A donation was made in memory of Jack by Drs. Goebel, Batdorf, Stidham, Hamack and Meyer at Vista Veterinary Hospital on Aug 15, 2019.

Jack came to live with us March of 2009. Our vet guessed him to be around 1 1/2 years old. He was a boxer/shepherd mix and such a good boy. In the 10 years we had Jack I think we only heard him bark a handful of times. It was a big boy bark and would scare anyone. He didn't really like cats but knew he had to be nice to our cats and they knew to stay in the fenced yard. He didn't really get along with my male schnauzer but again knew he had to be a good boy. He stayed on our property and was a gentleman in the house. He was always with us working outside and loved to go to the river and watch for minnows. He greeted everyone in our driveway with a tail wag and smile and loved everyone. He was a friend to all. Jack developed a sneaker tumor in his abdomen that was cancerous and he gave us no sign of being sick until the last 2 weeks. Dr Matt Stidham of Vista Veterinary was surprised at the very end as were we. I miss my big boy very much and cried for days. I know I will see him again. Until then he will always remain in my heart. We love you Jack!!
