Kaiser Baker was rescued in 2010, along with his girlfriend Princess. They were a bonded pair of long haired wiener dogs who were absolutely inseparable. Princess was a patient at WSU for congestive heart failure for many years until she lost her battle and broke my heart. Her boyfriend Kaiser remained my shadow, as he experienced strange symptoms and finally went completely blind in a matter of a few days. Kaiser listened for me and wanted to be by his mommy all the time. He was the absolute sweetest dog, and he is missed every single day. Thank you to WSU for your care of all five of our challenging and mysterious dog cases from 2010-2022 in Buford, Sydney and Bandit. All have lost their battles now, but we are forever grateful to you at WSU for giving us more time with all of them and managing their various conditions. We are also grateful for support and partnership from the excellent team at Yakima Valley Veterinary Clinic, Dr Teresa Gehlen, and Dr Ken Lust, all who have helped us along the way.
