Tyrese was truly a GREAT Dane. He was our son as sure as any two-legged version could ever be. When he arrived in our lives as an 8 week old, he could stretch out on the passenger's side floor of our '88 Ranger with room to spare. We were even told at a rest-stop that we were mistaken and he was actually a lab. But he soon grew to over 130lbs and requested we purchase a larger bed and couch, which we did gladly. Because there was nothing we wouldn't do for Tyrese to attempt to repay all he did for us. Logically, we knew he couldn't live forever, but in our hearts we believed he would. With his sudden, unexpected loss, we've been left with holes in our hearts and missing part of our soul. But we are learning in time, that really we were right, and he will live with us forever.
