Tribute to Lady Guapa
It is with infinite sadness that I must accept the unacceptable…
My most faithful companion, my sweet Guapa, my radiant presence for nearly fourteen years, has gone to join the stars after a stroke, beneath a gentle autumn sun.
Guapa now shines above me, just as she illuminated my life — with her tender gaze, her unwavering loyalty, and the pure love she gave me every single day.
An immense emptiness has settled in, a silence nothing can fill. But I carry in my heart every moment, every memory, every shared heartbeat. I am proud and grateful to have given this incredible Lady Guapa a full, gentle, and deeply loved life — and she returned it to me so beautifully.
I wish to express my deepest gratitude to Dr. Françoise Chamot, who cared for her from her very first vaccination, when she was only a few weeks old, until the day she gently helped her leave this world without suffering. My sincere thanks also go to the entire team at La Garderie de la Lorelei, where Guapa found her second home from the age of three months and where she spent so many happy years, right up until last Monday.
I am devastated and lost, yet comforted by having met her final gaze before she went to join the sky.
