Sky, our handsome sable-headed white collie, has been gone from us nearly six months now. Though he lived a full life of over 13 years, he has left a void and an emptiness in our hearts and home. Sky was a great travel companion - I've calculated that he likely logged over 55,000 miles on the back seat of our SUV... and probably more than that! He made eight cross-country trips from Pennsylvania to Montana, and was loved by many at the motel where we stayed just outside Yellowstone. I have often marvelled at how one dog became the link to so many people who became cherished friends, and whom I would have never known had it not been for Sky. So grateful for the time we had, but oh how I miss you buddy....
