In memory of “QB” Our Baby, Our Friend & Fishing Buddy!

July 2006 a little tiny baby girl dog, we named QB came into our lives and we lost her forever on 1-26-2011. She was A 4 year old Corgi/ min-pin mix).On 1-24-2011 our morning started the same as always, with QB letting us know its time to go outside! Later we left home for a trip we take often to Coeur d' Alene to see our children. We stopped at Lewiston to let QB out to walk at park and she turned and looked at me like she didn’t know me and she couldn’t stand up. I thought she was having a heart attack. We rushed her to Lewiston Veterinary Clinic and she was seen by Dr. John Hoch , who then diagnosed her with autoimmune diease. and said she needed medication and a blood transfusion, and suggested we take her right up to Washington State University College of Veterinary Medicine. After a ride that seemed forever, we made it to the clinic. She was seen and cared for by many Doctors, including Dr. Melissa Tucker. After many tests and 3 blood transfusions, our baby girl QB only survived 2 days.

She is what got us up in the morning, and told us when to go to bed at night? When it was time for her daily walk she would "spin her tires” scratch her hind feet. Get this long neck chicken squeaky she loved and would squeak it until you got ready to go out. If this didn’t work she would give you a stare down. Her little eyes just sparkled! Everyone she met fell in love her! I could write forever about her, but this has to end somewhere. There is A Big empty space in our home, and in our Hearts. She is missed so much. We only hope in heaven there is someone that will love and take care of her as we did. I know her little eyes will sparkle at us again someday!
