Grady (Decembe 15, 2009 - February 24, 2024).

Grady was an absolutely AMAZING dog. He was a wonderful pet, loving companion and true friend. He was our EVERYTHING! Grady was our WILD to WONDERFUL story. Having come to us as a 10-month old rescue, and having had no training in his previous home, he was pretty WILD and crazy. It didn't take long, however, and with some good training and guidance, that he became WONDERFUL. And he used that wonderfulness to help others in a very special way. Grady proudly serviced as a Therapy Dog for 10 years, completing 400 visits at local hospitals, retirement communities , and bookstores, while comforting THOUSANDS of patients, residents, kids, family members, staff and guests. People he visited called him a "Godsend," an "Angel," a "Gift," and so much more. Everyone he visited told him that he "MADE THEIR DAY." Grady loved his job and was loved by all who encountered him. We loved him every single day of his 14 years, 2 months of life, and it was an honor to be his family. We miss him terrably, but will fondly and lovingly remember his always! RIP our sweet boy!
