Mittens came to us as a kitten. Our daughter chose her because of her "extra" toes on 3 of her feet. She was a polydactyl cat. From day 1, she had a lot to say. She was very vocal and would talk back to you when you talked to her. She was a very curious cat, always checking out anything new. When our daughter went off the college, she became mom's cat. She loved "TV time" at night when she would sit on my lap while watching TV. We had her 20 years and 2 months so she really was a part of the family. It is hard not having her here with us now but we loved every moment of those 20 years and are thankful she has such a long life with us.
