Boogie joined our family 15 years ago and was one of our three precious little boys until we had to say goodbye to him on March 31, 2016. Boogie loved his walks and as a puppy, he loved to climb the mountain with his brother Koko and daddy. Boogie loved his weekend mornings when our family would load into the car to get espresso and doggy treats, then take a little drive to enjoy the mornings. Boogie loved his snacks and especially the homemade jerky that daddy made for him. We will never forget the fun we had taking vacations across the country in our motorhome with our three little boys (Boogie, Koko, and Smokey) and little Boogie loved to be daddy's navigator as we went down the road. How we miss our little boy.
Boogie was diagnosed with diabetes and Cushing's disease in 2013. Boogie was a trooper in taking his medications and insulin shots twice a day. Through it all, we were blessed with the exceptional care that was given by Dr. Thome’, Gabi, and the rest of the staff at our local veterinary office, Desert Veterinary Clinic. Their wonderful care gave us extra years with our precious Boogie. We also want to thank Dr. Collier and her staff at Animal Eye Center for the extraordinary care they took with Boogie’s eyes which allowed him to regain his sight and added extra years of quality time with us.
We'll miss you forever little boy. You left a hole in our family and in our hearts. We love you little Boogie Bear – Rest in peace Pal.
