BELLA
Bella was a 2 1/2 year old black shorthair cat that was gifted to our children with her sister, Sabrina in December of 2008. Both cats were rescued from difficult circumstances and we were thrilled to have them join our family! The cats were best friends with eachother and with our children, especially. We lost our beautiful Sabrina, (our son's best friend) to Feline Leukemia in January of 2011, and were so hopeful that Bella would not manifest the symptoms of the disease. Despite her outward strength, she was very sick and lost her fight on March 31st, 2011. Bella was incredibly intelligent and loved to follow us around the house talking up a storm! She was very affectionate, yet discerning in who she chose to share the "love" with. She truly became my daughter's best friend. Even to the point, of laying on the stairway ledge in front of my daughter's bedroom and meowing at anyone who crossed the threshhold. She was like a little guardian! Our only solice is that our "girls" are no longer in pain and together somewhere playing!
