Baron

Baron was the love and center of our life. We were so lucky to have had such a special boy. I believe he was an angel sent by God. Letting him go tore our hearts out, but we knew he was suffering. He gave us more than we ever could have imagined. He loved going for rides in the car, and we took him everywhere we possibly could. Everywhere we went he gave love. He was our third musketeer. He could look into our eyes for so long as we talked to him that you felt like he was a human understanding every word you said. He loved bananas and cheese, but more than anything he loved us and we are forever touched and he is so deeply missed. We put him to rest on May 12th, 2010 after a battle with cancer. We were so lucky to have Dr. Luminta Sarbu at VSC caring for him and our family vet Dr. Gene Bodily. Two very loving, caring doctors. Baron almost made it to his 9th birthday. We will never stop loving you and missing you.

  Comments: Baron is truly proof that dogs do have a soul. Not only does he have a loving & kind soul but he is a gentle giant. I feel blessed to have known him. I met Baron when he was a young adolescent, with his cute "cowlick" on the top of his big head and always a smile and a big wag when he met anyone. Baron always made you smile and he looked at you as if he could read your thoughts. He was deeply loved by his Mom and Dad. Audy and I were so blessed to have been entrusted with caring for Baron for a few days in his last weeks. He brought so much joy to our home and family even in illness. Our "small kids" quickly learned how loving and sweet Baron was as they all became a pack for a few days. Spike, Harley and especially Mercedes all took turns laying with him. It is funny how we can learn so much from our furry kids. Even with his illness & pain, Baron was still wanting to be the official greeter & snuggle with everyone. He always had a wag and love to give, no matter what. I know he was loved more than words can say. I know the connection he had with Bob and Gloria is so deep that he will always be with them. He is a very special soul. Audy and I are grateful for our time with Baron. May you find peace. You are amazing parents and Baron loves you. Marie & Audy

  Comments: My dearest Baron and boyfriend, What can I say you were always loving to everyone and you were so sensitive to our human needs. If we talked politics you barked to let us know we talked enough, if we cried you nudged us to lick our tears and hug us, that is truly amazing and it will be missed dearly. I remember the day you came into our family so fuzzy and cute we just couldn't stop kissing and hugging you. It was sad when I had to move away from you but you were always in my thoughts and when I came to visit you were there like I hadn't been gone for a day. Mommy would say "your girlfriend is coming over" and you would get so excited. I am so happy and gratful that I got to see you and say our good-byes. We all know you are happy and pain free now which is what makes us happy. I wish you could lick your mama's tears away though. Thanks for being such a loving part of our family.
