Rex

A donation was made in memory of Rex by Doctors and Staff of the Pet Loss Hotline on Dec 21, 2009.

This is a little bit about Rex, I passed the window of a pet store and saw this little guy trying to get out of the cage he was in, I went in and asked if I could see him, I played with for a while, but soon had to put him back.

I asked his name and was told he only had a number, about two weeks went by and I kept thinking about him, called and the lady said he was still there, decided right than that I was going after him, and that I would give him the best life any one could have, and hope I have lived up to my promise to him, he was 11 weeks old at that time and he would have been 16 on Sept. the 16th of this year. I could not have had a better friend, buddy, or what ever than he turned out to be.

He went everywhere we went even to the Barbershop with Bob and always sat in the chair and waited. If he could not go we didn’t either. He went all over the US with us and loved the car, and of course his walks, also loved to go in with me to the bank, and every one always had a to pat him on the head and play with his whiskers, loved getting his biscuit.
He loved every one and was the best behaved dog I was ever around, barked only if the door bell rang or when he was in the car and some one he didn’t know got to close.

When Bob passed away in 2007 I do not know how I could have made it without him, he was my rock, he got me through lots of bad times. He went to be with Bob on Aug. 28th 2009. I know he was happy to see his dad, but I sure miss him.

I would like to also say that we would not have had him that many years if it had not been for the care and help we got from DR Michael Hudson and DR Stephanie Brand and all of the people at Westwood Veterinary.
