Thank you so much for the lovely letter of condolences after our beloved Jake had to leave us. He was a beautiful golden retriever with a heart and personality larger than life. We were “empty-nesters” when Jake came to us so we spoiled him rotten trying to give back to him the love he gave to us. At nearly 13 years old, we knew his time was short, so tried to spend as much time enjoying him as possible – but there are still the little things you take for granted. Jake would lay near my chair in my office while I would work and I still try to step over him when I get up for a cup of coffee – even though he isn’t there. I miss his snoring at night. He had a collection of tennis balls on top of the refrigerator that we kept ready for him to play with. Jake was large for a golden at 110 pounds, but so full of love that everyone would fall in love with him. So – I just wanted to thank you again and Alpine Animal Hospital for their contribution on Jake's behalf. You guys do great work and we do appreciate it.
