Coffee Coal

A donation was made in memory of Coffee Coal by the doctors and staff at Chambers Creek Veterinary Hospital on Jul 03, 2019.

My lovely pet was so happy and healthy until she got asthma. It was sad to have to always be giving her meds. She actually knew when I was getting her meds no matter what time I changed it up to and would hide! It was kinda of funny at times trying to out smart her. I hated watching her get out of breath when she would go to her sratching pole or just want to play, watching her have an astma attack was so sad since there was nothing I could do but she hung in there! She loved to be close and loved laying on everyone's lap. She stayed a fun loving cat through it all. It was such a shock to find out on a check up for her asthma that she had a hole in her lung. I couldn't believe it since she was still running around and eating just fine but she was breathing through her mouth more often which she usually did in spring. I will never understand how it happened but I decided to let her go instead of putting her through anymore medical care that would traumatize her staying in ICU at 15yrs old without anyone there that she would know, I just couldn't do that to her. If she was younger I would of put her through the tx she needed. I hope and pray that someday one of you will find a complete cure for feline asthma. I want to thank Chambers Creek Veterinary Hospital for all the care they showed my sweet cat and the donation they made in her name.
