This is Pearcy Pupinski T.! 13 years ago she wandered into the
construction trailer I was working out of, covered in dirt and tired. A
co-worker gave her water and took her home for a bath and a place to sleep.
He spent the next week calling shelters and putting up notes to try and find the
owners, but not one claimed her. After that week, I took her home with me.
She was house trained, smart and so sweet that I can't imagine anyone
letting her go. While the story sounds like I saved her, the reality
is she has spent these 13 years taking care of me. Each day she greeted
me with a gigantic smile and vigorous tale wag! When I was going
through a rough patch, she would keep my spirits up. No blanket could
ever keep me as warm as her furry little body stretched out against my
back while I slept. While I am absolutely heartbroken to say goodbye to
her, I have never had a better friend. I love you Pearcy!!
