Tucker

A donation was made in memory of Tucker by the doctors and staff at Valley Veterinary Hospital on Nov 21, 2024.

Tucker was a special friend, he was really my forty year dream. I promised myself when I fully retired and got off the road from a driving career, that I was going to get myself a Lab, so I found this Chocolate litter Saint Helens OR, He was the male with the yellow collar, picked him up at eight weeks old and became joined at the hips ever since his passing The day after Memorial day. We battled this autoimmune disorder fo eight months with the help from all the Neurologist and staff at Summit Veterinary Referral Hospitol, he rests in a nice urn on a table in the livingroom with cards and pictures, he will nevr be forgotten. He was a very intelligent and quick learner, loved to use his nose. He loved to play hide and seek with his Kong in the morning at my desk, i would hide the kong out of site at the back of the house so he had to use his nose to sniff it out. He had a thing for white laundry wash clothes socks any thing white, would come out of the bedroom troting into the livingroom with a piece of white laundry, sit and starr at me waitng for me to chase him and recover the laundry. This was my favorate when he climb up on me when in the recliner lay in my lap as i stroked his head. Then some times he would lay his head on my chest and starr into my eys as we bonded.

I have Tonka a English yellow female that i picked up so Tucker could have a playmate to grow up with, they spent a full year of their bonding and playing till Tucker started to show the early signs of his disease, at which that time was mostly spent on Tucker. Love and miss you Tucker ALLWAYS, Cliff and Tonka
