Hello my name is Shelly. I'd love to share a story with the world about my choc lab lily she was diagnosed with megaesophagus worse stage when she was a puppy and almost died because of it. Her entire life we battled this condition with problems and being sick and lots of care and work. It didn't slow her down she went everywhere with us loved four wheeling camping swimming bird hunting anything that we did she was always a happy puppy she was the best dog I could have asked for she was my kid loved her to pieces wouldn't have changed or traded her for anything the best gift god could have gave me. We were told she wouldn't live past 3 to 4 years old cause most don't with this condition and she beat every odd out there and just recently had to put her down at the age of 8 years old truly my wonder dog. What finally took her was her esophagus got to stretched and lungs couldn't push enough air and kidneys were shutting down I couldn't bare to see such a great dog suffer even though I hated to loose her was the hardest thing I've had to do. I will miss lily with all my heart everyday. I just wanted to share this and hope this story gets posted and it encourages people to not give up she was a miracle and it can happen. I want lily dogs life to be passed on and forever go on . Thank u
