After 15 years, 2 countries, 3 cities and millions of treats, miles swimming and partying like a madman, Rodman, our special puppy has passed.
Rodman was in more ways than one our most special dog. He came to live with us when he was 8 week...s old and did not stop partying ever. He was responsible for more destruction than the Taliban.
Rodman was a crazy dog and not in traditional terms. He was not really the friendliest or warmest dog but he was certainly the smartest and if you got to know him, he was very sweet. He tortured Maria and manipulated her to no end. He would collapse, stop walking and bark at her until she went nuts.
As time passed Rodman changed from a rambunctious savage to a mellow adult to a gentle old man. He changed with us and most importantly changed us. He was our gateway to the US. He helped us make friends, spend time outside and enjoy the company of many people.
His borthers Sam, Emily and Zaza will miss him dearly. As will his human girlfriend Dee.
Right now he's on his way to meet Clara and my Dad, ready to play with his 2x4, hopefully torture some puppy and keep the party going.
Don't cry over Rodman. Go out, have fun and play hard. That's what he would have done.
