Gidget's registered name was Girl Talk but she was variously known as Gigi, Gidge, Miss Thing or, most commonly, Her Highness. A 16.2 hand black Dutch Warmblood I can honestly say she was the most difficult horse I have ever met- reactive, bossy and given to tantrums I called her "airs above ground". She was also the bravest horse I've ever ridden and kind enough to stop bucking when I was ready to come off. She was 100% a people horse, constantly in your back pocket, and was 1500 lbs of pure personality. I miss her. Please, we must continue to support research into Cushing's and laminitis. I don't think I could stand to have my heart broken this badly again.
