Fez was born on Guemes Island to Ruby and Boy. He was one of seven babies. At the young age of 9 weeks he was welcomed into his furever family and moved to Portland. Shortly before his first birthday he moved again, this time to Seattle and this is where the adventure began. Fez was well traveled and was a regular fixture at his moms half marathons where he subsequently learned he loved race day bananas. Fez had a particular affinity for pint sized tennis balls but nothing topped cuddling with his family. Although he lived in rainy Seattle he loved baking his potato body and chicken legs on the deck when the sun was out. To keep him cool on the deck, his family got him a pool but he decided it was better used as the largest drinking bowl you’d ever seen. Fez was rarely left alone but when he needed a sitter he was spoiled by his grandpawrents. People need not be fooled by his age, in his almost 12 years on earth Fez learned many new tricks as a senior dog. He was especially fond of tricking his family into opening the front door as a signal to go potty but as soon as the door was opened he’d quickly turn around and head to the kitchen for a treat. We owe so much to the fantastic Veterinary teams that provided compassion to his humans and kept him healthy throughout his life especially as he aged. Fez is loved by many and his legacy will live on by the memories we share and in the hearts of those he touched.
