Aspen came to our family at the age of 8 weeks old where she was immediately loved and brought so much joy. She joined our family at a difficult time though. My husband had been recently diagnosed with stage 4 cancer, when his health began to decline she was 7 months old but she stepped right up and became his bedside nurse and work from home companion. When he passed she was 8 months old and she quickly became my constant companion, my protector, my security, my everything. We shared grief together, moving from our home to a new home, new challenges as we navigated our new life journey. She truly was my soul dog and she could communicate and speak to me like I have never experienced with any other pet.

She was born on February 14th 2018 , she was always my Valentine. She loved car rides and would ride with her nose out the window to get in all the smells. She took security very seriously and kept watch over me and our home, she loved playing with her younger fur sister and was even more youthful spirited. She loved unending belly rubs, her human brother and human grandma.

On December 18th 2024 at the age of just 6 years old she was taken from me very unexpectedly and quickly by Immune mediated hemolytic anemia (IMHA). She is deeply missed and will forever hold the most loving memories in my heart.
