Pogo was a great dog. We rescued him in 2009 when he was about 3 years old. At that time he was only walking on three legs and we were told he had a heart murmur. Our vet suggested a big surgery on his unusable leg. The surgeon removed a piece of bone and shortened his front left leg so he walk on it. He was in a cast for 15 weeks and healed beautifully. 3 years later his heart murmur worsened and on December 17, 2013 he died of congestive heart failure. He was the most loving and devoted dog. Pogo brought us so much joy and we miss him every day.
