Nora was a puppy at a shelter...she and her brother were left from a litter of eight. She and her brother didn't have all the beautiful color and markings that a Bernese has, she looked like her daddy, a stray dog in the neighborhood. So she was the last to go. I am telling you, God must have been looking over us all that day because we chose the girl, Nora. She has been the most special dog from day one. She was a born mother. We got her at 9 weeks old and she passed away at 14 years old, she was more than just a family pet...she was family! I have never had or seen another dog with her disposition. She was great with my two boys who were very young when we brought her home and we now have a grandaughter that is about to turn 4 living with us. People might think I am foolish for trusting her as much as i did, but I knew she wouldnt hurt anyone...and she NEVER did. Nora we all miss you terribly already, I miss you not greeting me daily as I come home with your tail wagging and always a toy in your mouth to show me. I even miss fighting you for bed space. You showed us nothing but unconditional love. RIP my sweet baby.
