Boots

A donation was made in memory of Boots by Dr. Jean Allbright at Holistic Veterinary Service on Nov 18, 2017.

Boots "owned" the barn. He was rescued from the animal shelter with a fractured tibia in about 2010. He didn't like my other cats and moved to the pasture and to barn, even before I bought it. After I bought the barn, he was the sheriff that made sure there were no intruders. He developed diabetes this fall and when it was very insulin resistant. With further diagnostics, it was discovered the had acromegaly, which is a begnin tumor of the pituitary gland the produces growth hormone that blocks insulin. The barn just isn't the same without him.
