We adopted Macie from the Helen Woodward Memorial Center in Rancho Santa Fe, CA. She was the oldest one there as an 8-year-old and we know that the older ones rarely get adopted. Macie's front two legs were on the shorter side and she would hop around like a rabbit. She loved receiving treats, playing while on her back while we would try to grab her tail and there wasn't a human she didn't like. Macie was a true companion up until her passing just shy of her 14th birthday. We will never forget our Macie girl as she brought us joy for nearly six years.
