Having decided that it was time for me to adopt a dog in 2003, I discovered Elphie in a shelter in east Los Angeles. It was love at first site and it would begin an amazing adventure that would last nearly 14 years. She was by my side nearly every minute of every day. She blessed my life and I did my best to always bless hers.
